Genesys Documentation, books, videos any source
« on: May 11, 2016, 01:06:17 PM »
Hello Everybody,

I'm a level 1 Systems Engineer within a big company which uses Genesys framework 8.1 . There is not a single point of physical documentation here and everyone has its own opinion. Can someone please, even paid, help me with a good documentation for this "middle man" software I can't understand.
I'm sure you've talked this already and I've already downloaded "The Big Red Book" but I'm hungry for more. I need something from basics to middle, I'm positive it will take me a while to understand even if I have the right source of documentation.

Much help would be appreciated!

Thank you and kind regards everybody!

P.S. Also thank you for this forum, where I can read more through the issues.

https://genesyspartner.force.com/customercare/CustomerCareFAQ#question-2

You should try request access from Genesys..  Can't hurt.. Ask for read only access like they mention in that FAQ then you'll have access to the docs.

Hello,

I've got a response from their side. It seems the company doesn't have a valid subscription plan for this . Does someone else know any valid sources ?
Hello,
Currently, our system shows that your company does not have a valid Maintenance and Support contract with Genesys. Please contact your Account Manager or our Maintenance Department to discuss this matter.
Once we have received confirmation that the contract has been activated or any discrepancies have been resolved, we will process your request.
This Admin Case will now be closed but can be re-opened with updated information.
