Email server TLS security certificate
« on: August 20, 2013, 07:32:56 PM »
Hi everyone,

I have installed E-Services in a client. The chat is doing well but Iīm having problems with emailserver. When I start the service, the email server cannot login to corporate email server. I checked the credentials and they are ok. Genesys Support told me I need a TLS certificate from the corporate email server. I ascked my client corporate email server administrator to generate it but as the corporate email server is running in Zimbra, itīs quite complicated. I told them to use keytool, but they havenīt benn able to do it.

The question is...do I need this certificate for sure? Is there other way via Genesys options??

Thanks a lot ;D

The certificate request is from your customer server, not a Genesys requirement. Search the forum, this was discussed previously. Basically you need to import the certificate as a trusted one in the Java your Email Server is using.
