Default routing with NEC switch
« on: January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM »
Hello,

is there a way to ensure that in case of IR failure, calls are routed to default in NEC switch?

My main worry right now is about the calls that are placed in virtual wait queue and are being treated. Since we cannot really define a default ACD queue for a routing point in NEC switch without specify the timeout, I am worried that the calls will simply either be dropped, or even worse, just drop into oblivion should IR or the whole CTI system crashes.

Does anyone know how it can be handled?

Thank you,
Victor
