Generating non-standard DTMF tones
« on: February 15, 2008, 01:20:21 AM »
One of our clients has asked to write code that generates DTMF 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'D' tones ???.

These are the special 4 tones that are not on your typical phone (not ABC=2 and D=3) .

I tried doing it via sendDTMF but got an error.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the need to do this and if they had to go through any special hoops.

Thanks

  • ??? DTMF for those? What for? Those digits can't be send by any normal analog phone, only used inside the PBX as numbering plan. Can your PBX do it?
