Ideas for birthday surprises needed.

Has anyone got any any NICE ideas for surprises/pranks I can play on my father? He's celebrating a very special birthday on monday and I want to make it memorable for him.

Planned surprises I'm already doing are:

[li]Filling his car with balloons so when he wants to drive somewhere he can't![/li]
[li]Putting signs up near where he lives announcing his birthday.[/li]
[li]Advert in the national press.[/li]
[/list]

Has anyone any other ideas?

Oh Yes! 

This would take some planning and I would assume there is a gaqthering of some sort planned - hopefully at a restaurant(?)

If you can, scan and print loads of pictures of your father, through the years.  Arrive early and sellotape the pictures to the underside of chairs or placemats.  One short speech later (along the lines of "my father - a picture paints a thousand words...") inform the gathered crowd to look under their chairs/placemats.

Good for a giggle and no-one would guess, anyway.  It worked well for my father-in-law, last year!
