Twitter issues in GSE

We have a brand account and a customer service account. We want to reply from our cs account to public replies from both accounts but respond to direct messages from the individual accounts. How do you accomplish this without either receiving duplicate interactions or not receiving direct messages from the brand account?

Right now we have the service account in gse set up to search with a keyword we know won't return any result and the cs account set up with keyword searches for both the brand and cs accounts. The problem is that the replies from our service account go to both public and private messages. This isn't ideal and some users on Twitter have their privacy settings restricted so that they only receive private messages from accounts they're following so our direct messages aren't successful.

Sorry if this isn't clear. Anyone have insight?
