T-Server integration with OXE license Problem
« on: July 09, 2014, 11:49:18 AM »
Hi everyone!

I´m having a problem with my sdn licenses.

I´m installing Genesys 8.1 integrated with OXE.
The sdn number of my license file is 170. I have defined in Genesys configuration about 120 extensions, and 120 acd positions , 120 persons with their respective 120 agent logins. But I´m running out of licenses, as I see in T-Server log, they are checkin out every extension and every acd position, so when I reach 170, every object coming later is not being monitored.
What am  I doing wrong? iT´S Correct license is checking out every extension and acd position??

Thank you a lot !!

Z

Yep, I have configured agent-smart-monitor in true, and algo agent-substitute in true, but still we got the problem!

Can't be...
Please post cstainfo output from OXE
do a incvisu -r |grep CSTA and post output too
From TServer pls post startup logs

Ok, I will try to get the logs, but first, just a question,
Could it be something related to the option register when u create dn? Can it be in register option  "On demand" correct for dn of type extension?

Regards, i will talk to the guy who manages the OXE for the outputs.

Thanks!

No, never use "on demand". Can bring you more problems later.
But, can't be that.

Also please post agacd command output for an agent

A little off topic, but the register:True, False, OnDemand is specific to whether TServer registers the DN with the PBX, not if it checks out a license for the DN when a Tserver client registers correct?

If TServer is not monitoring the DN then no license will be consumed.
However, the onDemand scenario can bring some issues with Alcatel IP Phones on certain environments.
Just that

Hi thanks for your help. We talk to Genesys and so if yopu want to have license por "100" seats, Genesys will have to give you 200 dn licences, 100 for acd positions and 100 for agents extensions!

They will send me license file soon.

Thank you a lot!

??? ??? ??? ??? Like...not...
I do have a lot of Genesys implementations and never needed to double the ammount of licenses. One way to solve it but weird absolutely
