Prefix replacement misbehaviour on Trunk (SipServer 8.1.1)
« on: February 21, 2024, 10:09:07 AM »
Hi all, hope everything's fine out there.

I'm facing a weird behaviour using prefix conversion configured at DN level (trunk). If I set prefix to 88 e.g. and replace-prefix to null, if the dialed numer is 888000, it replaces 3 digits instead of only the initial two.

-- Dialed number was 888000, will replace prefix '888' with ''

But the prefix option is set to 88 Any clue?

**EDIT** just FYI, if I use another prefix like 77 or 87, and the dialed is 778000/878000, it works: Dialed number was 778000, will replace prefix '77' with '', Dialed number was 878000, will replace prefix '87' with ''

Best,
Gef

You can't set to null... Always has to be a valid string
Maybe dial plan is what you need
