Two Primary Chat Servers Load Balanced
« on: July 22, 2016, 03:21:33 PM »
Hi Team,
I have a setup where two chat servers are being load balanced by the Load Balancer.

But my issue is related to the .NET based custom desktop that I have, how do I identify to which server agent has to get logged in when he sets himself ready for receiving chats? Whichever server he logs in, any chats flowing in from other server can't bring some of the attached data and no communication gets established between the agent and the customer on the web.

Appreciate if someone has come across this setup.

Thanks,
Upkar S

You create a Cluster on Genesys, and this Cluster will route you to the correct Chat app. You have such config?

Hi,
Sorry for the late response.

I have now setup two chat servers one is named Chat_Server and the other Chat_Server_2. Then I have created one app as type Cluster.

Now I want to know is there any special configuration that needs to be done for this to happen.

I have added the Cluster application to the connection of my WebAPI application instead of the chat ones.

Do I need any port to be configured for the Cluster coz' by default it takes 0 only.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Upkar

You are doing fine. All is mentioned in the deployment guide.
