WVS error - "No audio available" using GVP 7.6
« on: June 04, 2009, 04:52:52 AM »
Hi

I am using GVP 7.6 (Mcu) with WVS. Calls are recieved by Cisco 3825 router, converted to SIP and then sent to GVP. When we make a call and put our phone on mute, WVS doesnt recieve any packets while it is on mute and it gives back a recognition error.

In the WVS logs, it says "No audio available for 10 seconds. Switching off Microphone".

I think GVP needs to send 'silent packets' to WVS when the user is not saying something - so that WVS returns 'no input' instead of giving back an error.

I have gone through the WVS and GVP documentation but couldnt find a solution. I know 7.5(McuXml) had a parameter called generatesilencepackets but I am not sure if the parameter is still there in 7.6 (Mcu).

Any info would be really appreciated.

Thanks much
