Dealing with Genesys SIP Server bug
« on: March 04, 2009, 04:25:10 AM »
Hi,

for various reasons one of our clients is stuck with Genesys Sip Server version 7.5.000.38 and there is no changing that. We have developed a SipPhone based on RTC 1.2 and while everything works just fine, there is one, single, tiny problem that we cannot resolve: recovering the transfer call in ringing state after HA failover.

Yes, I know it is addressed in 7.6 version, however, is there ANY way to return the call to the party that initiated the transfer using SIP and CTI?

Thanks,
Vic

Hi Vic,

I would say there isn't way how to do it but I've never analysed SIP Server call flow in such situation. Could you post here SIP Server log?
