CCPulse stat values
« on: April 10, 2007, 01:52:30 AM »
Hi all,
I have a couple of users using CCPulse. They are connecting to the same statserver. One user's CCPulse session is almost always open during the week. Some users logged on different times of day. They are very concern on the stat values of their CCPulse. CCPulse is giving them different values on the same queues. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought they would have the same values no matter what time they have logged in because they are connected to the same stat server. The user who's always logged in has the largest value and the user who has logged in most recently has the least amount. Is there a way wherein I can synchronize these values?
Thanks heaps.

CCPulse will collect stats only when opened no before. As It's not stored on any DB, this stats are on the fly.

Is there a way wherein I could synchronize the stat values when they logged in. If we're going to store the stats on a DB, how could I implement this?

Thanks.

We had this issue when we first got genesys, but now we get the correct values no matter when we open it. Im not sure how it was rectified, I'll see if I can find out and post back.

There is an option (that I cannot remember off the top of my head) that will keep stats for a certain amount of time.
Will see if I can find it for you :]

Elwan, check to make sure all the ccp+ clients have the same refresh/update rate.

Mark - the option to keep the stat is 'old-stats-remove-interval'

Not sure about this, but on CCPulse under template wizard, select the object type, then the template where the stat variance lies, and open up the stat type, look at interval type make sure it's set to Growing and Default, at least that's how it's set on mine.

Even though you are looking at the same view, that view might have other stat server connection.
Try to create a new simple view with the stat server you intend to use and see that give you the same value as other.

First you need to open the template you want to modify and then go to Tools->Templates Wizard
[attachimg=1]

Because different templates are related to different objects, you need to choose which sort of template you want to modify.
In my case, I decided to modify AgentView template, which means it is based on agent object. So, I selected it in the left pane and then select the template on the right I want to modify and then choose "Modify Selected Template".

[attachimg=2]

Once you do it, you will see all sort of statistics used in that template.

[attachimg=3]

What you do is select statistic you have problem with and then click on properties.

[attachimg=4]

You will see "Interval Type" and under it you will have different sort of values.
Play with them to get what you need :)

Different stat values only happen especially on Mondays and after a long weekend, wherein no one has logged in before and or somebody has not closed his session during the break and others have. The templates are fine, the stats interval type is equal to Growing and Default.

I'm thinking you will need to used the 'old stats remove interval' option and set it to 4 days (5 on special occasions like this last weekend).

What is your "Default" time profile set to?
Your stat should be reset to 0 every midnight if you don't have "Default" in defined.
Check each stat properties of time interval in template wizard.
