Title: Alcatel 4400 PABX & Outbound
Post by: Peter on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Hi

Is there someone out there that has successfully integrated an Alcatel 4400 PABX with Genesys in an outbound (preferably blended) environment. I'm particularly interested to know how the call classification is done on the PABX using a DSP card, how reliable the classification is and how easily it can be tuned for local conditions.

If someone has some experience to share can you reply here or drop me an email. Thanks.

GPA2 card. One card, 5 DSPs, one DSP = 9 detections ( 5*9 VADs = 45 VAD total if GPA2 is dedicated to VAD only ! ).
Suggest manual fine-tunning of a4400 architecture if you have more than one ACT shelf (GPA2 - w/ VADs, PRA cards with trunk to outside world, and UA cards to agent phones).
With ISDN trunk, one good thing is that you don't use VAD for most cases (like calling/busy/ wrong number detection).
Rest is simply 'working'.
