Hi guys,
I'm checking an HA configuration and found a message on LCA logs that always was fussy for me...can't find info on Framework deployment guide nor on Genesys support site...
00:28:42 Hangup detection is not enabled
Anybody knows what this message refers to?

Hang-up detection is the feature introduced from v8.0 onwards and allows Local Control Agent (LCA) to detect unresponsive applications by checking for regular heartbeat messages. When an unresponsive application is found, pre-configured actions can be taken - including triggering alarms or restarting the application.
With hang-up detection enabled, LCA monitors all threads in the process and hence, can detect non-responsive applications (even if it is running).
As far as I know, only few servers like T-Server support this functionality and I recommend to configure this, only if required.
Cheers,
Lucky

Cool, thanks a lot for the input. Any idea, which documentation talks about this more detailed?
