Title: One Stat Server for geographically distributed T-Servers
Post by: sova on June 08, 2011, 10:30:38 AM
Hi!
I have two sites with two different time zones
I want to use one Stat Server for gathering of statistics from both T-Servers.
In this scenario the server receives events from both T-Servers in local time(GMT+7)
How  I can adjust reception of events in different time? It is necessary for aggregation by day.

XD
He has two end users distributed on different countries, so he wants to get reporting with according time zones for each country otherwise hours will probably not match.
1 Statserver may be ok, but 1 ODS and 1 ETL does not. I'd put 1 per TZ

Hi! Sorry for my terrible English.
My configuration in attachment

Stat server receives all events from both T-Servers in local time(GMT+6)
for expamle:
2011-06-08 16:53:09> Action: Extension '720078@2site_A4400'(NotReadyForNextCall):
        [2011-06-08 16:49:07] Monitored
        [2011-06-08 16:53:08] LoggedIn
        [2011-06-08 16:53:08] NotReadyForNextCall
        [2011-06-08 16:53:09] OffHook
and

2011-06-08 16:53:09> Server: Switch '1site_A4400'->'EventDiverted'
        ReferenceID    -1
        ThisDN 'VQ_L1_GVP_P'
        ConnID 012f01ed182c6cac (85289035767770284)

DataSourser collect data from stat server in local time(gmt+6)
ETL aggregates the transferred data into hourly, daily,
weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly time buckets for each report view. My configration good for noAGG and hourly report, but for daily,
weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly time buckets no good.

My question: How to adjust gathering and statistics aggregation for both sites?

sova, in this case you need to set up second ODS. or... do you have infomart?

"Stat Server will convert time stamps for the data it receives to GMT according to the system time on its box, independent from which Time Zone the Call Center is in or the actual Time Zone where Stat Server resides. The determining factor is that the system time on Stat Server's box has to be set correctly. In our case the time will be converted from Central Time to GMT."
