Title: Genesys SIP Server
Post by: Ali on May 31, 2007, 10:25:50 PM
Hi gang,

Does Genesys Labs provide Genesys SIP Server 7.* and other applications/services for evaluation purposes along with its trial license? Or, in Genesys, with whom I should contact?

Thank you, best regards,

Ali

Ask your commercial people to contact Genesys and ask for a limited license. What i did was on my CCenter added the SIP Server and reserver 5 licenses for it :)
It works (start the app) and logs agent but i still can't see it on CCPulse :p Working on it

SIP Server will, as any other TServer, consume sdn licenses of your license.dat, so if you have 10 licenses, and 2 tservers on the options of each on license section put 8 on the main and 2 for the SIP one so at least it can start and register 2 DN's.

Regards

Hi, Cavagnaro,

Thank you for your reply. I am the commercial and tech guy :-) [doing both at the same time]. So, could you please provide me with Genesys Lab contacts (you can ask your business guys)?

Well, what I did was to fill and submit the form at Genesys Lab's web site. Not sure that they will get back to me.

Regards,

Ali

Ali,

Genesys provides software only to people who register for their program - there are plenty of them, but all of them usually require that you generate at least 500,000 USD per year for them in one way or another. And now they are pretty strict about it. Even if you get the software, license is another problem. There is no simple way to get evaluation license. I tried, believe me... Perhaps you will have better luck than me! I had to go through official channels to get both software and license for us.
