Hey guys!

Just in the initial phase of switching from a Nortel Switch to Cisco and found out that there is very almost no information on this setup other then the standard Genesys Tserver install document.

Can anyone help with what needs to be done on the Cisco side? any install documents will be greatly appreciated!!!!

I installed the Genesys Tserver and did some basic configuration...belowis the error I am getting.  I created a user in CUCM and updated the Tserver option link-tcp with the same.

What kind of user/groups does this user need?

ERROR - Can§t connect to Cisco CTIManager. Likely causes:
1. Can§t connect to CTIManager host §10.22.134.21§.
2. Invalid T-Server configuration options (ccm-host, user-login, password).
3. CallManager software version incompatible with T-Server - change option §jtapi-update-mode§ or manually copy jtapi.jar from CTIManager host to T-Server directory.
(Reported error = com.cisco.jtapi.PlatformExceptionImpl: Unable to create provider -- bad login or password.)

Cheers!

Long Island back to the power play with Raymond taking a hooking call (moments before Raymond made a bad cross ice pass that led to the Islander rush he took the call on). Getting ugly again… - I wish Luongo was mic'ed tonight, his cursing must be .... Though they need some special teams help and currently sit in the basement of the Atlantic, they are getting good work out of Joey MacDonald as well as Weight and Hunter

Did you ever find the documents for installing Call Manager to Genesys JTAPI T-server?

IMO this error means
"ERROR - Can§t connect to Cisco CTIManager. Likely causes:
1. Can§t connect to CTIManager host §10.22.134.21§.
2. Invalid T-Server configuration options (ccm-host, user-login, password).
3. CallManager software version incompatible with T-Server - change option §jtapi-update-mode§ or manually copy jtapi.jar from CTIManager host to T-Server directory.
(Reported error = com.cisco.jtapi.PlatformExceptionImpl: Unable to create provider -- bad login or password.)"

1) Unable to connect to switch: it means the switch might be down or you are connecting to back-up switch instead of primary

2) You are using wrong credentials in the tcp-ip link option: like cch-host name or user name or password they provided, you need to ping the ccm host from t-server host and see the results

3) jtapi should be in the t-server installed folder ( don't know the exact path) , Cisco call manager team will provide the jtapi file or download from genesys site.  check for jtapi version compatability with cisco t-sevrer version

hope this helps
