Genesys Integration Pros and Cons

Hi There,


What are the pros and cons of Genesys integrating with an Avaya PBX in oppose to Alcatel lucent.

Also what are the requirements for both. If Avaya, is it TSAPI or AES? For ALU, is a CTI server sufficient?

We are currently using Nortel and we using Symposium to talk to Genesys Tserver that works just fine.

Please help.

Humm that will depend a lot more on personals tastes around here.
You should gather all the info of each one from their perspective and compare them.

I'd say ALU because that is with what I maily do work with. Nortel is not a very nice choice for me because of many factors, but others would say Nortel is better because of XXX and others will prefer Avaya because of YYY...

So I think you need to hear and see the platforms from the respective presales and then choose the best for you
