Not sure if it is the same subject - but ALU are now looking to sell off it's "parts" division...

Something is definitely going on...

Well not the whole enterprise division, only Genesys...for a Genesys only world should be still the same, a new headache about procedures change and support is coming just when the ALU one was becoming some sort of stable...

For guys like me who work with both ALU and Genesys a huge NOW WHAT rises, ALU had been deploying many products and ideas based on Genesys technology and now as it will not be part of its core what will happen to all those projects...hopefully will keep the road so far but from a couple of years who knows...customers that were willing to buy are now asking for a commitment that the product they could buy will not die in 1 or 2 years...

Time will tell and also ALU has still to announce this officially

Good luck Cav, I have a feeling that the two will go separate ways fairly quickly. There is not a love lost between the two companies.  I've never had ALU in the middle of anything, so it doesn't affect me, except stop the ALU from trying to sell to me.
