IRD - Scheduler
« on: December 11, 2009, 10:16:58 AM »
Hi,

I am trying to load schedules so that IRD can route calls correctly over the Christmas period without any human intervention.  ;)

I am doing some tests and when the time passes for my schedule to load the Routing Point does not display my new strategy. I am looking in the URS Log and I keep seeing this message next to the attempted event of the schedule loading, "CONT: config server error 9 - object CfgDN(2), property DBID(34) : Permission error. Your access privileges are insufficient for performing the requested transaction."

This doesn't make sense as the user I am loading the strategies with is within Ranks IRD - Administrator, Strategy Builder - Administrator and Strategy Scheduler - Administrator.

Thanks in advance for any help

Kenny

From which account URServer is running (check Security tab in CME)  ? Is it SYSTEM account or any other, custom account ? If custom one - check permissions to RoutingPoint DN for this account - it has to be at least RHX.

Are you using geographically distributed environment with CSProxy and URServer is running from CSProxy ? If yes - you won't be able to use scheduler, due to Read-Only mode of CSProxy.

Im running IRD from my laptop which connects to the server with URS on it,

I checked the Security tab in CME for that Routing point and Admins and Super Admins have "Full Control" set

Check the Security tab of URServer, section "Log on as". Account specified there is used by URServer during scheduler execution. URServer simply changes annex tab of RoutingPoint DN. Your account used in IRD doesn't matter in this case.

on UR Server the Security tab has "Log on As - System Account" set at the moment.

on the Routing Point SYSTEM only had RX access, I have changed that to Full Control and this appears to have fixed the issue.
Thanks for your help Borkokrz  ;D

RHX is enough, but Full Control will also work ;-) You must correct this on all RP DN's on which you want to change strategy by IRD Scheduler.
