  • I will take a compliment in whatever form it comes :)

By the way, I have about 20 different articles now about the website; however, the more I dig and put them together, the more obvious it becomes that things can be done without Genesys... do we want it?

I feel that my strenth in Genesys and understanding of the product and lack of experience with other line of products out there allow me to criticize Genesys products much more than its competition. Do we really want it?

  • Hmmmm... wb Victor!

I think the facts are that Genesys have been buying up other (CTI-related) technologies and, over a period of time, branding them and placing them within their own suite of products. Some fit well - others not so.  If you intend on comparing the Genesys product suite solutions as individual products with the "best of the rest", you are more than likely going to come to the conclusion that, individually, there are better products out there...

I've been waiting for a while for all of the Genesys Solutions to be contained in one product suite but still they are compartmentalized to varying degrees, meaning that you can still look at them in isolation - and thereby compare them.

I know I've said it before but the (TServer>URS) Routing Solution is Number 1, imho - what the others are, on comparison with other products would still be interesting to see, even if the Genesys products themselves don't fare all that well.

I guess, to be subjective, you would need to detail what is important for each solution in and of itself, before creating a comparison "chart" for each solution.  After that, apply each product to the solution comparison chart in a "head to head" fashion.  I think that would be a fair and just means of comparison...
