Another tweak for faster browsing

for a while now I have been using both firefox and google Accelerator, because I like the idea of having the links pre-fetch before I even click on them. Sure, from website administrator point of view, it is a total waste of bandwidth, but for me, it means much faster browsing experience.

Well, I found something that surprised even me. It is called FastererFox (yes, fasterERFox) and it is simply amazing. The thing pretty much makes my browser act even faster than a dedicated windows app. For example, it used to take about 3 or 5 seconds for me to get the first page of Genesys CTI forum loaded. Now it is less than a second. Yes, you heard me right. Second!

How does it do it? Well, it actually pre-loads all of the links on the page into cache and so when you click on it, it simple reads it from cache. Simply amazing!!!! (Gosh, I hope I just did not spell death from overload for my own site!!!  )
