Monitor-mode value
« on: May 29, 2007, 08:34:40 AM »
Hello,

I'm stuck. Can someone please explain to poor old me what RequestMonitorCall is and what value of 2 for MonitorMode mean? ???

I have Genesys Documentation CD, but I don't know where to look. Any insight would be great!

Sincerely,
Jeff

The only reference to monitormode that I can find is in the SIP Server deployment guides.
Unable to find anything relating to RequestMonitorCall though!

  • If it's related to silence-monitoring and my memory serves me right, the value 2 determines the silence mode: supervisor can hear, but cannot interact with agent. However, I can be wrong, not sure.

Btw, on Genesys Lab Tech Support, I searched for "RequestMonitorCall" and couldn't find anything neither in Documents, nor Solutions.

there are two types of MonitorModes - OneCall or All Calls, which let you monitor only the call that is taking place right now. The other would monitor DN indefinitely.
