DataMart speed of growth

One of our support people has asked whether the DM growing at 200mb a day is normal.
Does anyone think that this level of growth is abnormal?

no more than 200 agents online at any one time
2000 -2500 calls a day.

We have not created loads of custom stats, the reporting is pretty much out of the box.

I have no idea how much other environments grow by!

Hi Mark,

I would say that the described grow is normal. The most space is occupied by non-aggregated data collected every 15 minutes for all objects (depends on configured templates) configured in CME (agents, places, route points etc.).

See chapter "Estimating Data Mart Size" in "Reporting 7.2 Deployment Guide" for more information and formulas used for calculation of estimated DM size.
