Well René just to disappoint you on, 7.2.....it still sucks.
Also have same issues, Server stops receiving requests, too damn slow of a call center, it doesn't fit to the speed that an agent needs to make the contact center efficient, it goes totally contrarious to the whole speech you give to the customer on improvement of speed of their cc.
One simple example, we launched with GAD an outbound campaign (the worst idea ever!), so on the calling list was a userfield defined by the user to modify it to a simple YES or NO, and one more to show customer name. Ok, campaign launched, client said "Hello", call transfered to the agent, Agent: "Heeeeellooooooo.........miiiiisssstttteeerrrrr.....oooorrrr miiiisss??? (GAD STill loading),....", "we are calling to offer..........."
So agents were pissed off, customer was like "does it always works like this?" he was first time with an outbound solution so we said we'll try to improve, but another customer that if already had outbound would kick off the table with that performance, we were very disappointed on the speed of the app compared to GCNThick.
So what i did? Develop my own Softphone under the table, i really was pissed off, installed on 2 agents one day and said to them, now test with me. They were amazed, so i made a couple of modifications and fixes (like the transfer ) and let them run a week.
On the end of the week i retrieved historical statistics and BAM! this two agents had an efficiency 4 times bigger than the rest, so i presented, showed and was approved the solution inmediatly.
Similar issue happens to Inbound, as René also mention, agent is on Ready but GAD shows anything, slow response, when doing an outbound call and try to make DTMF (Tones) to dial an extension it was slow as hell. I have not developed nothing to the inbound agents, but thinking on modify the same app for make it available to support both scenarios, more work for me but can't let the customer has a bad idea of the solution.
So that is one of my little histories with GAD, and persist, it sucks.
The admin part of GAD however is cool.
