Went to Athens last time around and found I actually have enough information without subjecting myself to the fanfares, drums, lights, demos and back-slapping.  - I know, it's about networking and chin-wagging but I can't bring myself to go.  We have representation, though...

I don't actually see what going would do for those of us on the techie side of things. Especially not at approx £500+ plus VAT a person. I do have other thoughts on the subject but I'd better keep them to myself.....

PS I did look at the Metropole about 16 months ago to arrange a truely independant Genesys user's conference and I reckoned the price of tickets could have been virtually free..

Quite agree with that, I have mentioned that it would be beneficial to the business to send some people, but they are sending me and 2 others from the tech side only. Quite shocked at the price, especially as it does not include the hotel cost!!

Pavel, we could probably organise a small conference in a hotel on a hot island in far off shores for less than GForce!!
