Disarm High Availability - Best advice

Dear expert friends, I hope you are well, the reason is to ask you please for advice as a best practice to disassemble an HA.

It turns out that we must decommission several servers, so the intention is to keep primary services temporarily, so I need to be sure of the best procedure, I thought to do the following, example:

We have two SipServer 8.1 (primary and backup) both running on two Linux Red Hat 6 servers, so I plan to do the following:

1. In GA stop the SipServer backup.
2. Make sure for a short time that the primary works without problems (I understand that there should be no impact).
3. Then in the primary Application delete the Backup Server (none) and
4. Remove redundancy (Not Specified)

With the procedure described would be the correct thing? Or do you suggest that I stop both the primary and backup and disarm the HA?

Will it be necessary to restart the component afterwards once it does not have its HA?

Please remain attentive to your kind suggestion or advice.

Thanks.

Just shutdown the backup servers, they are not doing anything.
On Hot Standby they are ready to pick up whenever Main goes down, but are not participants of the call flow.
On Warm (OCS for example) he is just sitting on the bench waiting to be called and start all dialing from scratch as new.
